The Modern Greek major is relatively new to Sofia University (it was established in 1994). Since 1998, Andreya Krupev has been teaching a course on foreign language teaching methodology for students of Modern Greek philology, in which he presents the main trends in foreign language teaching. In 2004, the course was taken over by assist. prof. Milena Milenova. Currently, the course is taught by chief assist. prof. Kalin Vassilev, PhD.
