The course on Turkish language methodology is taught by Hüseyin Mahmudov (1954-1987), who was appointed to the Department as a part-time lecturer, and is the author of a textbook on Turkish language methodology and various methodological guides and textbooks. In the early 1990s, Todor Shopov was invited to teach a general course on methodology of foreign language teaching at the Center for Eastern Languages ​​and Cultures. With the introduction of the bachelor's degree, the course on Turkish language methodology was taken over by Mihail Yanchev, a part-time lecturer at the Center for Eastern Languages ​​and Cultures (1996). Due to the illness of the titular lecturer in 2018-2019, the course was temporarily taken over by Assoc. Prof. Milena Yordanova. From the academic year 2019-2020, the course is taught by Prof. Dimitar Veselinov, with the newly appointed colleague Mihal Pavlov being invited as an assistant.
