Lecturers from the Department of German Studies at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, and the Department of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" delivered two online guest lectures within the framework of the partnership between these two university units. On 24 November 2025, assoc. prof. Elena Savova, PhD from the Department of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching presented a paper on the topic "Constructive Didactics" to students and colleagues from Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia. On 14 January 2026, prof. Saša Jazbec, Head of the Department of German Studies, presented a paper entitled "Who is Afraid of Artificial Intelligence?" to bachelor's degree students majoring in German Philology and master's degree students in the MA programme "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching in an Intercultural Environment" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". The topics of both papers were examined in the context of foreign language teaching.
