On 30 September 2025, at a meeting of the Department Council of the Department of "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching", the members of the Department Council elected Prof. Magdalena Kostova-Panayotova, DSc, as the Head of the Department.

The staff of the Department of "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching" expressed their gratitude to Prof. Milena Yordanova, PhD for the time and efforts she gave during her term, and wishes a successful term to the new head, Prof. Magdalena Kostova-Panayotova, DSc.
