Pedagogical Portfolio Competition

On 6 July 2026, in Lecture Hall 247 of the Rectorate building, the award ceremony for the winners of the Pedagogical Portfolio Competition, organized by the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the pedagogical portfolio in the training of future foreign language teachers at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, took place.

25 students from bachelor's and master's programs were honored in the competition. The awardees received diplomas and material awards for their achievements.

On behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Prof. Gergana Petkova, PhD, as well as on behalf of the teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology, Prof. Dimitar Veselinov, DSc, Chairman of the Jury, congratulated the awarded students and wished them future professional and academic success.

The celebration was part of the initiatives dedicated to 25 years since the introduction of the pedagogical portfolio as an important element in the preparation of future foreign language teachers at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology.
