On 5 November 2025, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology ​​visited the Simeon Radev Secondary School for Foreign Languages, Pernik, where they presented to secondary school students from three different years the bachelor's degree programs at Sofia University and the majors at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology.

The secondary school students were particularly touched by the story of Samuil Pechev, a first-year student majoring in African Studies, who spoke about his choice and motivation to study at Sofia University.

Prof. Panayotova and Asst. Prof. Nikolova also presented the opportunities for acquiring teaching qualifications, as well as the master's degree program "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching in an Intercultural Environment".
