This review aims to provide an objective assessment of the work of the Department of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, based on my personal experience as a student and the classes and internships I took during the 2023/2024 academic year.

During the training, the lecturers of the department demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the students. They use up-to-date teaching methods, demonstrate high digital literacy and encourage their use by the students. Communication with the lecturers is good, understanding is shown towards the students and a positive relationship is maintained between them. The content of the classes is balanced, includes theoretical foundations, practical tasks and technologies in training. The internship is full-fledged, provides the opportunity to work with students of different age groups, provides sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge for successful implementation.

Thanks to the good relationship between the department and the schools, I am currently working in my specialty at the 17th Secondary School "Damyan Gruev", where my internship took place and I continued my professional career.

The Department of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching offers high quality training and professional support for future foreign language teachers. I express my gratitude for the knowledge and opportunities provided!
