graduated in 2017

I enrolled in the Master's program "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching" at the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology of Sofia University in 2017. The reasons for choosing this Master's program were because the diploma is internationally recognized and gives, in addition to a Master's degree, a teaching qualification. It was also important to me that the team of lecturers is made up of leading names in the field of foreign language teaching.

Professor Veselinov introduced us to where and how teacher training began, what stages it has gone through and what is the direction of development today.

Professor Shopov, with his many years of research work, presented us with a wide range of methodologies, areas of application and the results that each of them provides.

Professor Danov and I discussed methods and approaches in inclusive education.

The disciplines included in the program, the fascinating way of presenting information, and the practical coursework and projects that we prepared during the training not only helped us to be better teachers, but also greatly expanded our worldview. The teachers challenged us to experiment in teaching, to rediscover meaning in it, as well as to grow ourselves as individuals.

From a purely practical point of view, completing the master's program opened up many professional opportunities for me, both with its reputation and with the pedagogical or translation qualifications that each of us received.

Our graduating class managed to build relationships of tolerance and respect among themselves, which further contributed to more fruitful learning.
