My name is Yana Ninkova and I majored in German Philology with an elective module "Scandinavian Languages" with a profile "Teacher" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 2024. I currently work as a German language teacher at the Specialized Language Secondary School "Exarch Yosif I" in the town of Lovech. My job at school is to teach eighth grade students who are studying German intensively. The knowledge acquired from attending lectures and participating in exercises in the subject "Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching" helps me daily, as they are comprehensive and up-to-date. An integral part of the training are also the disciplines "Class Observation" and "Internship", during which I gained valuable experience in working with students. For young teachers, however, the course "Curriculum" is of particular importance, in which students become familiar with the nature of curricula and programs, with current regulations and annexes to them, which are a mandatory part of the learning process.
